three things
1. Lisa Loeb came to Novato as planned, and it was great. Before the show, she passed a friend who was eating a loaf of Robin's homemade bread... Lisa walked by and saw it and said, "oooohhh, bread!" and he offered some to her, not realizing who she was. She ripped off a large chunk and walked up on stage chewing. Later on, as she was telling us how she wanted some snacks or ice cream or something and how she was looking forward to her dinner later, she started talking about the bread and told Robin (and everyone else) how delicious it was. Perfect Lisa moment.
2. My cousin Tori had her baby. Johnny Aloysius. And he's soooo cute. And he's fascinated by sparkly metal things like zippers and he likes to look at people with just one of his eyes like a pirate - YAR!
3. No picture, but I saw the Ditty Bops last week at the Great American Music Hall and it was wicked fun. They played all sorts of new music, and it's great. Hopefully they'll make a new album soon.
And summer started and my life is a little less hectic so in between many many housesitting excursions, I'm hoping to find more things to take pictures of and write about. (we'll see...)
